“NPP can be the real change the people need”

History has proven that people’s power is stronger than any other power, said National People’s Power (NPP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake, at a NPP meeting in Ja-Ela on Sunday. “The two political camps have been decisively divided in our country. Now we have the battle to be the first or the second,” he said.

“For many decades, the people of our country formed and overthrew Governments for change. Looking back, nothing has changed. Our country needs a real change. Our country needs a change in political culture, economic policy, and a positive social change,” he said. He added that the NPP is ready to make the real change that the people have been waiting for decades. “We need politics that takes care of the people’s wealth and everyone needs a fair law,” the NPP Leader said.

Dissanayake said that we will make the compass the strongest camp in the country.
