NPP Govt. will produce Sulfuric Acid at Paranthan – AKD

National People’s Power (NPP) Leader, Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that the government of NPP will work towards producing sulfuric acid at the Paranthan chemical factory as a start.

Dissanayake said that sulfuric acid is required for all types of manufacturing industries and therefore a large number of industries will be created through the production of sulfuric acid in the country.

The NPP Leader said that through the creation of a large number of industries in the country, it will generate many jobs for technicians, managers, clerks and store keepers. Dissanayake said this during a public rally that was organised by the National People’s Power recently.

Dissanayake further said that Sri Lanka is blessed with the natural resource of graphite with a high percentage of carbon and instead of exporting graphite directly after mining which has been happening for decades a factory will be installed where graphite is found to manufacture products using graphite through creation of new industries for exporting. Mineral sand in Pulmodai, Phosphate in Eppawela mine, and Silica in Puttalam mine will also be used instead of exporting them in raw form to manufacture products using them through new industries for exporting by installing factories in the relevant locations, he said at a public rally that was held by NPP recently in Nuwara Eliya.
