NPP ready to work with India with clear vision – AKD

National People’s Power (NPP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that the NPP is ready to work with India with a clear vision.

He said this addressing the Kelaniya electorate meeting held on August 12.

“In the match that is being played, the NPP will win against the team that ruined the country and systematically brought the country to this pitiful state, and having made this country a bankrupt nation before the eyes of the world,” he said.

“We are fully aware of what has befallen this country. We must save the people of this country from this predicament. If we don’t change this corrupted system who will change it? At this time it is we who will have to do it, no one else will do it.

“Because geographically and politically India is in close proximity and is our neighbour, the NPP has a good vision and is ready to work with India.

At this time there a complex political environment is building up. “Before October 17 next year a Presidential election has to be held and the campaign will begin at the beginning of August,” he said.
