Director of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Superintendent D. S. Wickremesinghe informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court yesterday that mobile phone analysis reports have revealed that Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennakoon had informed the Colombo Fort Police OIC to hand over the money found at the President’s House to the Minister of Public Security.

When the case was called before the Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage, SP Wickremesinghe further mentioned that the Fort OIC also kept a note regarding the said instructions given by SDIG Deshabandu Thennakoon.
