Online Police clearance services resume following technical glitch
Sri Lanka Police has announced that the online system used for Police Clearance applications has been restored following a technical malfunction.
According to the Police Media Division, the technical issue had temporarily prevented applicants from obtaining their Police Clearance reports.
With the system now restored, applicants can resume submitting their Police Clearance applications online with effect from October 16, 2026.
Sri Lanka Police has requested applicants to visit its official website, www.police.lk, to submit their applications online. (Newswire)
