Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms Minister Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe told Parliament yesterday that only Rs.36.8 million has been deposited so far out of the Rs.300 million compensation ordered to pay by the Supreme Court to former President Maithripala Sirisena and others in connection with the Easter Sunday attack.

He also mentioned a plan has already been prepared regarding the payment of this money and submitted it to Court.

The Minister said this in response to a question raised by SJB MP Kavinda Jayawardena.
