Only trained safari jeep drivers allowed into Yala National Park from Jan.1

From January 1st 2024 onwards, only trained and certified safari jeep drivers would be permitted to enter the Yala National Park.

The safari jeep drivers with licenses issued by the Wildlife Conservation Department (DWC) will be allowed to transport guests into the national park, stated the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
