Outrage over improper fuel distribution

The public are up in arms against some petrol bowers illegally distributing fuel to people in isolated areas. In some instances private vehicles were seen unloading several large cans.

The Lanka IOC (LIOC) in a statement said: “Lanka IOC expresses deep anguish over the indulgence of the subject TT crew in the wrongful unethical activity. Strict action in line with the prevalent guidelines has been initiated against the concerned transporter.”

While people are hailing LIOC for quick action taken, the public are now asking who is going to take action against private vehicle owners to take fuel from these bowers.
