Over 1.8kg Kush cannabis seized at BIA

Sri Lanka Customs Narcotics Control unit arrested a suspect on Wednesday (02) along with 1 kiligram and 883 grams of Kush Cannabis concealed in Domestic Heating machines estimated to worth Rs 19 million.

This consignment was sent to a company in Piliyandala from Canada on September 26.

During examination of Heating Machines officers found 09 parcels of Kush Cannabis concealed in 06 machines.

The clearing agent was arrested and further investigations are being carried out by the officers attached to the Narcotics Control Unit.

Contrabands and the suspect will be handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.
