Pakistan Envoy pays farewell call on Navy Commander

Pakistan High Commissioner Major General (R) Umar Farooq Burki paid a farewell call on Navy Commander Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, at the Navy Headquarters yesterday (21).

They held a cordial discussion on several matters of bilateral importance. Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera extended his gratitude to Major General (R) Burki for his assistance while serving as the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, and conveyed best wishes for the outgoing envoy’s future endeavours.

Defence Adviser of the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo, Colonel Muhammad Farooq was also present.
