When he was in grade three he participated in the Inter House sports meet and he was a member of the under ten relay team and they came first but he did not participate for the Divisional meet. His coach and Master in Charge of athletics was M. Colin. He was drafted to the grade six of Vijayaba School and his Parents Saman Jayasinghe and Himali Nadeeshika encouraged their son to commence volleyball and immediately he came under Master in Charge and Coach of the school Tharaka Ratnaweera. Same year after hard and regular practices initially he participated for the school inter house under 15 tournament and his house emerged champions. Same year he participated in the Divisional, Zonal, District and Provincial and they swept the board and at the all Island Schools meet they were the fourth In the following year his house came second and they participated in the lower tournaments but in the higher tournaments they were unsuccessful. In 2017 they won the lower tournaments and participating at the DSI they lost and in the same year at the all Island they came third and in 2018 in the under 18 age group they won the DSI District and in the All Island Schools tournaments they came second.

In the following year too after going in the same process they came third and in the DSI District tournament they clinched the trophy and in DSI all Island they were the third.

Due to the present situation they could not participate in 2020 and same year he joined Vijitha Vidyalaya Dickwella.
