Patali involved in sinister political plot – PUNP

Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Patali Champika Ranawaka has launched a sinister political game to portray the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks as a political conspiracy, Patriotic United National Party (PUNP) Leader Sugath Hewapathirana said.

Speaking at a press conference in Colombo yesterday, he said that the MP is trying to divert the public attention by pinning the blame on the attacks elsewhere.

He said that information has come out that a protest has been organized outside the UN premises in New York when President Gotabaya Rajapaksa addresses the United Nations General Assembly, and that MP Ranawaka is the person who is allegedly giving leadership to that group.He noted that MP Ranawaka had launched this sinister campaign with political motives.
