PC arrested with ‘Ice’ and cannabis

A Police Constable (PC) attached to the Vakarai Police station who is heavily addicted to drugs was arrested with six packets of ‘Ice’ and cannabis by the Vakarai Police.

After investigating the suspicious behaviour of a Police Constable who has been in service for about eight years, the arrest was made.

Investigations have revealed that the officer left the Police station Saturday morning (05) and bought four packets of the drug ‘Ice’ and two packets of Kerala Cannabis from a drug dealer in the Valachchenai area.

After using ‘Ice’ on the way, he had come to the Police station with ‘Ice’ and Cannabis concealed in his underwear for later use.

After arriving at the Police station, the OIC and other officers had taken him into custody and on inspection, found drugs hidden in his underwear.
