Peradeniya Hospital to get MRI scanner

Health Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana said in Parliament yesterday that a new MRI scanner will be provided to Peradeniya Hospital this year.

The Minister said this while replying to a question raised for an oral answer.

He further said that work is being done to repair the cardiopulmonary resuscitation unit of the Kandy Hospital. He added that the necessary equipment has already been ordered for this.
