Person shot and killed at Ampara

A person has been shot dead in Ampara , Mayadunne Area yesterday night.

The deceased is a 42-year-old resident of Mayadunne area.

The deceased was bathing behind the house when a person shot him with a firearm and ran away.

It has been revealed that the shooting was carried out over a dispute over a paddy land.

The suspect who committed the shooting has been identified and the Police is conducting further investigations to arrest the suspect.
