Pfizer COVID vaccine will be administered to A/L exam candidates

The government has decided to administer the Pfizer vaccine to the students sitting for the coming Advanced Level examination, Education Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said in Parliament today.

The President has issued a directive concerning the decision last week, the Minister explained. There shall be a round of further discussions with the Education Ministry.

Minister Gunawardena made these observations in reply to a question directed by Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Patali Ranawaka.
