A Pirith chanting ceremony will take place at the Buddhist Ladies College (BLC) premises on Monday (20) from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. followed by an alms giving to the members of the Maha Sangha on Tuesday (21) morning to mark the 70th Founder’s Day of the Buddhist Ladies College.
The BLC was founded by the late Mohandas De Mel, an educationist and lawyer by profession, who strived to maintain the family tradition of inculcating the Buddhist Philosophy through education.
