Pistol used to kill ‘Aaji’ in Kelaniya found

Investigations carried out by intelligence agencies have revealed that in addition to Makilangamuwe Sanjee, a powerful underworld criminal, Ruban, a powerful drug dealer, and Walle   Saranga were involved in the murder of Aaji, an underworld criminal at Kelaniya Pattiya junction recently. According to the information received by the Intelligence Division of the Special Task Force the firearm used in the killing was with a woman. That woman along with four people who allegedly aided and abetted in the killing were arrested yesterday (17) by the officers of the Special Task Force’s Gonahena camp.

The firearm is a micron type pistol made in China. Arif Mohammed Hussain, alias Aji, a resident of Wellampitiya Welewatte, was killed in a gun attack on September 14 at Kelaniya Pattiya junction.
