Leaders of seven Indian neighbouring countries, including Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, attended Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony yesterday evening. The ceremony took place at 7.15 pm at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Leaders who attended the event included President Ranil Wickremesinghe, President of Maldives, Dr Mohamed Muizzu, Vice-President of Seychelles, Ahmed Afif, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Mauritius, Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Prime Minister of Bhutan, Tshering Tobgay. The pictures show leaders of seven Indian neighbouring countries, among around 8000 other guests at the ceremony.
