PM wishes Modi on Chandrayaan-3’s landing on the Moon

Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the recent landing on the moon of the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) spacecraft Chandrayaan-3.

“I offer my heartiest congratulations to you and the Government and the People of India as well as the ISRO team for the pioneering feat of Chandrayaan-3’s soft landing on the uncharted lunar South Pole,” Premier Gunawardena said.

“We feel it is a proud moment not only for India, but also for entire South Asian Subcontinent,” he said.

“I do extend my congratulations to the Indian scientific community and offer best wishes for further successes in space science endeavours for the benefit of mankind,” Premier Gunawardena said.
