Police open fire at three-wheeler, five arrested with swords
Police have opened fire at a three-wheeler which had ignored their instructions to halt near Veluvana Road in Dematagoda today.
According to the Police, the vehicle was reported to have been driving in a reckless manner from Kompannavidiya.
The Police said no persons were injured in the shooting.
Five suspects travelling in the vehicle had been arrested along with three swords.
They have been identified as residents of Kollonawa. (Newswire)
