Power shedding allowed today too

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has given green light to impose a power interruption of four hours and 40 minutes in areas in the A, B and C categories in the power interruption schedule today (24). The Ceylon Electricity Board had sought Commission’s approval for rotational load shedding.

In the meantime, power cuts of four hours and 30 minutes will be imposed in the other areas.
