Predatory economy completely destroyed manufacturing industry – AKD

National People’s Power Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that the country’s manufacturing industry was completely destroyed by the predatory economy introduced in 1977.

He was speaking last Sunday (09) while participating in the Wattala Constituency Conference of the National People’s Power. “The economic crisis can be identified as positive or negative, but our society has fallen into a great tragedy that cannot be measured by numbers. The economic growth rate of our country became negative because we obtained loans and imported goods,” the NPP Leader said.

The National People’s Power is ready to take the necessary economic development leap for the country. Fearing that the National People’s Power would win, the vote was postponed, and at present, every effort is being made to prevent the National People’s Power from coming to power.

He further said that the National People’s Power has to pay the most attention to the recovery of society.
