President appoints three new High Court Judges

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed three new High Court Judges and formally handed over their letters of appointment at the Presidential Secretariat today (23).

According to the President’s Media Division, the appointments were granted to Perumal Sivakumar, currently serving as the District Judge of Jaffna, Anandi Kanagaratnam, who serves as the Senior Assistant Secretary of the Judicial Service Commission, and Gnanesha Lalith Kannangara, currently serving as the District Judge of Colombo.

According to the President’s Media Division, all three appointees are Special Grade officers of the Judicial Service.

The letters of appointment were presented by President Dissanayake during a ceremony held at the Presidential Secretariat, marking their elevation to the High Court bench. (Newswire)
