President returns from Germany

President Ranil Wickremesinghe returned to the country, concluding his official visit to Germany yesterday.

During his four-day official visit to Germany, President Wickremesinghe addressed the inaugural Berlin Global Dialogue held from September 28 to 29. This global high-level forum gathered influential decision-makers and leaders from the realms of politics, business and society, alongside young visionaries.

President Wickremesinghe during his visit engaged in meetings with prominent figures such as German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, key ministers, members of the German Parliament and representatives from the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

He also met the Belgian Prime Minister, Kazakhstan President and a number of other world leaders on the sidelines of the summit.
