President’s, Kotte beat Ananda by 11 runs
President’s College Kotte beat Ananda College Colombo by 11 runs in their first round fixture of the Under 17 division one inter schools cricket tournament at Ananda Mawatha recently.
Dulnith Sigera, right hand top order batsman of Mahanama College Colombo made a quick-fire 132 runs in 76 deliveries with 14 boundaries and 8 boundaries against Siri Piyarathana MV Padukka.
Rivith Jayasooroya (Prince of Wales Moratuwa), Nikhil Jayaweera (Mahinda Galle) and Senuka Dangamuwa (Mahinda Galle) showed all-round performances in their matches.
