Prince Faisal applauds Sri Lanka’s support for UNGA resolution in call to Ali Sabry

Saudi Arabian Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah had a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, Ali Sabry.

During the call, the Foreign Minister praised Sri Lanka’s support for the United Nations General Assembly resolution issued on Friday, October 27, 2023, which aims at an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of an urgent humanitarian truce in the besieged Gaza Strip, and fully comply with international laws and norms and international humanitarian law.

The two Ministers discussed the developments of the dangerous situation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, and the importance of the international community in playing its role to achieve a ceasefire, protect civilians, and enable humanitarian and relief organizations to deliver urgent and necessary aid to the Gaza Strip.
