Principal arrested over sexual abuse in Balangoda

Balangoda Police has arrested the Principal of Pinnawala Pudukaduwa Tamil Maha Vidyalaya for sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl. 

According to a complaint received from the Child Support Service, police said that the suspected principal was arrested.

Recently he had been transferred to another school over the same incident until a disciplinary investigation is conducted.

The police are investigating the incident.
