Principal kisses English teacher

The Minuwangoda Police said that the Principal of a private school who is said to have forcibly kissed and sexually assaulted  a teacher of the same School was arrested yesterday (17) afternoon.

The Principal had allegedly kissed the teacher forcibly saying that he could not wish her for the New Year properly.

The suspect is a 61-year-old father of two, residing in the Kadawatha area.

Police say that the suspected Principal was arrested following a complaint made by the 23-year-old teacher.

On the particular day, the children and teachers of the school had been given leave.

The Principal is said to have phoned the female teacher and had asked her to come to the school saying there was some urgent work which had to be done.
