Probe into defacing Ja-Ela OICs jeep with obscenities
An investigation has commenced regarding obscenities written on all the doors and the bonnet of the jeep reserved for the use of Officer-In-Charge (OIC) of the Ja-Ela Police Station. A senior police officer said that the obscene words were written on the jeep while it was parked in the garage where the jeep was supposed to be parked inside the police station.
The officer also said that Police Constable Driver Bandara (92007) had discovered day before
yesterday (27) obscene words written on the jeep which was parked in the garage, when he was about to clean and wash it, and he had alerted the OIC. The officer further mentioned that the jeep had been scratched with many derogatory words and investigations revealed that this act was an inside job of the police.
