Probe into robbery of backhoe and a tractor

The Kuliyapitiya Police have started an investigation regarding the theft of a backhoe machine and a tractor that were parked in a shed located in a 20-acre coconut land. Police said that the theft took place at Prasad Estate in Walpitagama. The Police say that the backhoe is a Komatsu-07 type one. The value of the backhoe and the tractor is estimated to be over Rs. four million.
