RDB Bank adopt sustainable approach
Being the largest and premier state owned development bank in Sri Lanka with the objectives to support to achieve the macroeconomic fundamentals by providing accessible financial products for the economic development.
At present, it spans 272 branches island-wide and empowering by over 3,000 professional staff. RDB Bank continues to implement its vision by providing financial assistance to MSMEs to empowering over the thirty nine years history.
Under the theme of ‘Do the right thing, for the right reason, at the right time for a sustainable future’ stepping towards sustainability in a bank means having a more conscious approach to make rational financial decisions.
As a national level bank, RDB is stepping into sustainable strategies with the establishment of the bank’s ‘Sustainability Unit’. As the very first initiative, the bank’s first sustainability committee meeting was held on August 6, under the patronage of General Manager/CEO (Acting) E.A.D. Janitha Priyashantha.
