Rehan and Oneli clinch Western Province Table Tennis Titles

The battle for the individual honors was intense, with Rehan Senanayake from Ananda College and Oneli Lehansa of Musaeus College emerging as the Individual Champions in the Inter-school Table Tennis Championships of the Western Province concluded at Indoor Stadium, Bandaragama.

Saluka Premachandra from Ananda College secured the Runner-up position, closely followed by Vinuka Gunawardena from Royal College in Third Place. The individual accolades went to Oneli Lehansa from Musaeus College, who claimed the coveted Girls’ Individual Champion title. Nadithi Rehansa from Visakha Vidyalaya secured the Runner-up position, while Minadi Savindula from Viharamahadevi Balika Vidyalaya Kiribathgoda secured Third Place.

The boys’ division witnessed Royal College emerge triumphant across multiple age groups. In the Under-20 category, Royal College secured the coveted title of Champion, while Ananda College took the Runners-up position and S Thomas’ College claimed the Third Place spot.

Ananda College showcased their prowess by securing the Under-18 Championship title, with Royal College as the Runners-up and Nalanda College securing Third Place. In the Under-16 category, it was once again Royal College that claimed the top spot, with Ananda College as the Runners-up and S Thomas’ College clinching Third Place.

The girls’ division was equally competitive, with Visakha Vidyalaya and Musaeus College displaying their exceptional talents. Visakha Vidyalaya secured the top spot in the Under-20 category, while Musaeus College took the Runners-up position and Buddhist Ladies’ College Mt Lavinia secured Third Place.

Musaeus College continued their impressive performance by clinching the Under-18 Championship title, closely followed by Visakha Vidyalaya as the Runners-up and Ladies’ College in Third Place. In the Under-16 category,
