Religious observances to mark Kokavil terrorist attack

Religious observances were held at Mahaweli Centre recently to mark the 33rd anniversary of the Kokavil terrorist attack. This commemoration ceremony was organised by the ‘Arya’ foundation. At the commemoration 64 war heroes, including Captain Saliya Upul Aladeniya, who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland in that attack were commemorated. A large number of people including Maha Sangha, family members and artistes participated in the event.
