REMEMBERING D.A. RAJAPAKSA

A ceremony was held in Tangalle on Saturday to mark the 118th Birth Anniversary and the 56th Death Anniversary of former Minister D.A. Rajapaksa, the father of two former Presidents Mahinda Rajapaksa and Gotabaya Rajapaksa. He was also the father of former Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa and former Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa. Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, several other ministers, politicians, members of the Rajapaksa family and the public were in attendance.
