
A special set of restrictions will be in effect during this period, according to an official circular issued under the signature of S. Alokabandara, Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government.
Accordingly, slaughterhouses, meat shops, and meat sales counters in supermarkets will be required to remain closed islandwide on May 30, 31 and June 1. Betting shops, casinos and social clubs (clubs) will also remain closed during these days, the circular said. (Newswire)
