Retired teacher Padma Ekanayake passes away

The death occurred on Monday of Padma Ekanayake (86), a retired Arts teacher of Ananda College, Colombo. She served the school from 1973 to 1993.

Last respects can be paid at Jayaratne Funeral Parlour, Kalubowila, till 4.00 pm today, from where the remains will be taken to the Dehiwela-Mount Lavinia Cemetery for cremation at 5.00 pm. She is survived by one son.
