Retired Woman Major ordained

Retired Major Manisha Indeewari Wickremesinghe was ordained at the Bulugala monastery in Randeniya, Wellawaya on Thursday as Bhikkuni Dhamma Nirodha under the tutelage of the founder of Bulugala monastery Ven.Rathupasketiye Vimukthirathana Thera, Ven. Galaudahene Visuddhirathana and Ven.Baddegama Ginasara Thera.

She posed for a photograph with her relatives before being ordained at the monstery.
