Thirty runs and a five wicket haul by skipper Rishmi Sanjana helped Anura Vidyalaya Matara overcome Samapura MV Hambanthota by 94 runs in the Sri Lanka Schools ladies under 19 division two Group M cricket fixture played at the Debarawewa NS ground on Saturday.
Samapura MV did well to restrict the strong Anura Vidyalaya team to 171 runs. Rishmi Sanjana topped the score card with 30 off 23 balls while Rashmika Sewwandi who scored an unbeaten triple ton in the previous game was dismissed for 28.Dewmi Hansika and Sadeesha Nishadini shared 7 wickets between them.
In reply, Samapura MV could only score 77 runs as Rishmi Sanjana was rewarded with a five wicket haul. Rishmi ended with 5.2-3-10-5
