RMIT Campus launched in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka’s latest addition to the International Higher Education institution, Rangiri Institute of Management & Technology (RMIT Campus), was launched recently.

RMIT Campus will initially operate from Makola and Dambulla and will offer UK Awards English language diplomas, Masters and Doctoral programs from UGC-recognized European universities. RMIT Campus is the education arm of Rangiri Holdings, a diversified group of companies with interests in hospitality, textiles, construction, and outbound training. It was founded in 2006 with the vision to offer internationally recognized educational programs at an affordable rate in collaboration with world-class universities especially for rural youth. The Chairman is involved in a variety of industries, including sports, garment and garment accessory manufacture, media, and event management. He has worked in a variety of senior positions in global corporations.

Chairman Rangiri Group and RMIT Campus Nihal Pathirage, said that they have identified education as an important part of the group’s human resource development. “Education and skill development are one of our focus areas, and we provide outbound training and outbound learning in the public and private sectors on physical, mental, emotional, and social adjustment; individual differences; personality; thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving.“We also provide educational assistance in developing language skills and awarding foreign qualifications which are recognized globally. “I can assure you that thousands of students who will graduate from RMIT Campus will be placed at the premium positions in the industry or in academia in Sri Lanka and abroad.”
