Royal and Musaeus claim Under 17 Tennis Titles

Royal College and Musaeus College won the All-Island School Games Boys’ and Girls’ Under-17 Tennis Championship played at the SLTA Courts in Green Path.

Royal had the satisfaction of completing a grand double at the School Games having earlier clinched the Boys’ Under-20 Championship as well. In the under-17 tournament final, Royal produced another fine performance to beat Ananda College 2-1, while emerging victorious in the two Singles.

St. Peter’s College had to be content with third place in the Boys’ Under-17 Championship.

Meanwhile, Musaeus College rallied around magnificently to beat Bishop’s College 2-1 in the Girls’ Under-17 final with Visakha Vidyalaya claiming third place.
