Royal College Colombo ‘B’ will meet St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya ‘B’ in the final of the Under 15 division 2 inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket at Wijerama Mawatha Colombo today).
Royal College Colombo ‘B’ and St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya ‘B’ advanced to the second round as the champions of their groups in the first round.
St. Peter’s Bambalapitiya ‘B’ beat Prince College Ratnapura and Royal Colombo ‘B’ beat St. Sebastian’s College Katuneriya in the second round.
St. Peter’s Bambalapitiya ‘B’ beat St. Anthony’s College Katugastota ‘B’ and Royal Colombo ‘B’ beat Jaffna Central College in the pre quarter final round.
St. Peter’s Bambalapitiya ‘B’ beat Wayamba Royal College Kurunegala and Royal Colombo ‘B’ beat Sri Sumangala College Kandy in the quarter final round. St. Peter’s Bambalapitiya ‘B’ beat Wadduwa MMV and Royal Colombo ‘B’ beat St. Aloysius College Ratnapura in the semi finals.
Royal College Colombo ‘B’ will be led by Nifadh Nimshad and St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya ‘B’ will be led by Riyon Fernando.
