Royal ‘B’ will meet Sri Sumangala, Hikkaduwa in Under 15 Division two semi final today

Royal College Colombo ‘B’ will meet Sri Sumangala College Hikkaduwa in the semi final of the Under 15 Division Two inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association at Bandaragama esplanade today.

Royal College Colombo B advanced to the second round as champions of their group in the first round. Royal Colombo B beat St. Anthony’s College Katugastota B and in the second round they beat Gamini National School Bentota in the pre quarter final round. Royal College B won on first innings against Sri Sadhdhananda MV Helambawatawana in the quarter final.

Sri Sumangala College Hikkaduwa advanced to the second round as champions of their group in the first round. They beat Wadduwa Central College in the second round and overcame Sripalee College Horana in the pre quarter final round.

In the pre-quarter final, the match ended in a no result against St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa B. Sri Sumangala College Hikkaduwa advanced to the semi final according to previous average bonus points.

Royal College Colombo ‘B’ will be led by Tharik de Silva and Sri Sumangala College Hikkaduwa will be led by Shohan Ishiwara.
