Royal College Colombo ‘A’ emerged champion of the Under 15 division One inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday.

Royal College Colombo won the first innings against Isipathana College Colombo in the final played at Campbell park Colombo yesterday. Hirun Matheesha, left hand opener scored 95 runs in 116 balls with 14 boundaries and a six.

Upali Amarathunga, Director of Physical Education and Sports (Ministry of Education), Suresh Bulankulame, Senior Manager Cricket Administration of Sri Lanka Cricket, Oshara Panditharathna Deputy President of Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and Principal of Isipathana College Colombo, J.A.K.S. Indrajith Secretary of SLSCA, Manjula Vaz Treasurer of Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association, Moris De La Zylva coordinator of NDC in Sri Lanka Cricket and D.M. Rajarathna, Tournament Secretary (U15) participated at the awards ceremony.
