Rs. 230 Mn allocated for Opposition Leader’s expenses – AKD

NPP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday said that Rs.230 million has been allocated for the

expenses of the Opposition Leader this year. “He has been taking care of his mother for 30 years with the money of the people of the country.

This year, the cost of taking care of his mother is Rs.8.2 million,” Dissanayake said. Dissanayake was addressing a rally held at the Badulla Senanayake grounds on Tuesday in support of the candidates contesting the upcoming Local Government election under NPP ticket.

He said the incumbent President and former Presidents Maithripala Sirisena, Mahinda Rajapaksa, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa are all from the same side.
