Rs.310 Mn released for March, April Mahapola bursaries

The Higher Education Ministry has taken steps to release Rs.310 million for Mahapola Bursaries of March and April.

With the request of the Education Ministry, the government has allocated an amount of Rs.310 million from the

Mahapola Trust Fund for the Mahapola scholarship scheme of university students.

The money will be credited to students’ bank accounts as bursaries for March and April within this week.
