Russel’s Tea opens pastry shop

The premier tea service provider to corporate, officers and events in Colombo Russel’s Tea opened its new pastry shop recently at Punchi Borella Junction.

The pastry shop opened daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. is dedicated to producing high-quality food for reasonable prices and also accepts online orders for delivery. All Russel’s Tea products too are displayed while the customers also get the opportunity to taste Russel’s signature cup of single estate BOPF tea at the new venue.

This new venture is done with the backing of Russel Perera and Group General Manager Lindsay Fernando who have directed the company for three and a half decades.

Russel’s Group of Companies, now steered by the second generation of the Perera family, has also diversified into exporting tea, bringing in much-needed dollars to the local economy.

The opening was held with the blessings of Rev. Dr. Fr. Anthoney Fernandopulle.
