Russian language center opened at Peradeniya University

The language center established at the Peradeniya University, to study Russian language was handed over to the students on Thursday (27) by the Russian Embassy in Colombo.

This language center was opened in conjunction with Russia Day and it is intended for students studying for their degrees to learn knowledge of language. Coordinating Unit for the Study of Modern Languages (CSML) of the Department of Classical Languages, Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya on the occasion of the Russian Day celebration was opened at the new premises of the Kannangara Building of the Faculty of Arts and this department is already awarding general degrees in Hindi, Japanese, Korean and French.
