Sajith wastes valuable time of Parliament – Ruling party MPs

A group of ruling party MPs from the back benches have asked President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena to intervene to prevent the destruction of people’s money that is taking place due to the activities of Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and his team without making proper use of the one hour allotted for the oral answers of the Members at the beginning of Parliament.

The ruling party backbenchers have made this  request to the President and the Prime Minister after meeting them at the President’s Office after the Cabinet meeting.

A group of ruling party MPs including Premanath C. Dolawatta, Madhura Withanage and Jagath Samarawickrama came together with the Presidential Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Professor Ashu Marasinghe and made this request.
