Sajith’s only claim to fame, his father’s name ­- AKD

National People’s Power (NPP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that the only qualification the Opposition and SJB Leader Sajith Premadasa has to be a party leader is that he is the son of former President R. Premadasa and if this was not the reason Sajith was not even suitable to be elected as a Municipal Council member.

The NPP Leader was addressing a public gathering in Kalutara, Dissanayake said today the SJB was in tatters and many leaders of the party are leaving the SJB as they are not happy with the leadership. He said SJB MP Field Marshall Sarath Fonseka, whom Sajith had touted as the Minister who will be assigned to catch thieves under a future SJB government, too has abandoned the party.
